CVAMO

CVAMO (Cost, Value Analytics, Models & Optimization) is a research lab bringing together professors and pre- and postdoctoral researchers from diverse departments associated with the Business Engineering program at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Ghent University.

Our team has extensive expertise in Industrial Management and focuses on addressing engineering challenges from business and economic perspectives. Our research activities span several key domains in analytics, decision support, and operations.

Faculty of Economics and Business Administration

CVAMO is embedded in the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Ghent University. The faculty combines strong economic and managerial expertise with quantitative and analytical methods to address complex challenges in business and industry.

Machineries & Factories (M&F)

CVAMO is part of Machineries & Factories (M&F), an industrial research platform bringing together the activities of around 125 researchers from different research groups across several faculties at Ghent University and Howest.

M&F research contributes to the development of smart motion products and smart production systems in an Industry 4.0 environment driven by digitalization and digital twin technologies.

Flanders Make

CVAMO is a core lab of Flanders Make, the Strategic Research Centre for the manufacturing industry.

Based on high-tech research, Flanders Make actively supports companies in the manufacturing industry in developing and optimizing products and production processes.
